/rant on

i'm reading this chick lit book for fun right now and thought ti'll be a quick read and just a way to spend some time while out in the sun or lounging whatever. well turns out i'm wrong. nothing wrong with the material but the proofreading was terrible! and the layout! how can you have paragraphs italicised half way through? do people not check before they publish? it's driving me mad. i guess i'm just anal bout this stuff but hey if it's going to be turned into a book goddamn read through everything and double check. it's pretty bad when you get the wrong names of the characters at the wrong places. gah. the more i read the more frustrated i get with the book. got a good mind just to stop reading, the plot's not that great to begin with and it's just somnething to pass time.
