it's the end of an era. for 5 years Caroline Car has been a friend, a companion, and last but not least, a mode of transportation. she has done her job to the fullest and i couldn't be happier with her. but she was old, and she needed to rest.

i'm really going to miss her, all the memories from the past 5 years... countless trips back and forth with friends from hiram, driving to chautaqua, late night taco bell outings, drives to cleveland to visit little italy, coventry, and downtown lakewood, ...other stuff... ,  sigh....

i'd appreciate it if you could have 10 seconds of silence in honor of Caroline while reading this. it'd be a nice gesture.

in other news, i'd like to announce a new member of the eppley family: Hana. Hana in japanese means flower; blossom.

I adopted Hana from Japan 2 days ago. She is a one year old honda civic lx, weighs 2,456 pounds, is 175.4 inches long, and currently has 130 miles on her odometer. here are some pics:

i hope you all give Hana a warm welcome when you meet her, she's a little nervous, she has big shoes to fill...
