being like Him
being like Him
Sometimes the silence and the stillness
allow more space to reflect
on the grace and the mercy
that make an attempt to perfect.
I know we are all human
but we strive to be like Him.
which feat will only be fulfilled
when He comes again.

Sorry, I couldn't decide on which one to use. And even though the second ten commandment was good I thought the God knows was a better choice to glorify the Lord. My decisions are not always the right ones so I am working on that. Looking forward to being with Our Lord someday! God bless, Sharon
Hi...just stopping by ... I was just reading one of Paul's letters this morning and he said "aim for perfection." So to go along with what you have written...we won't be perfect until heaven but we are still to aim for it......
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the prayers on our behalf! Please pray over our Thanksgiving outreach tomorrow.
Blessings,
Lynette
Praise the Lord that He sees us under the blood of Jesus! It's not what we do, how much we succeed, or even what we say. The Lord looks at our hearts. Scripture says that the *righteous man falls 7 times, but gets back up. So, it's not even whether or not we fall... are we looking up? He is waiting there to grab our hand and lift us out of the mud. The thing we don't want to do is just enjoy being in the mud puddle and decide to live there.
Keep looking unto Him, the author and finisher of our faith! By His strength we are made perfect in our weakness. Stand still and see the victory of the Lord. He has done it, He can do it and He will do it ~~ nothing is too big for our God!
Love,
Lynette

THANKS, SWEETIE, FOR POSTING THIS!! THIS IS MY BIGGEST PROBLEM THAT OFTEN DEFEATS ME, THINKING I SHOULD BE PERFECT AND NOT STUMBLE. I JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER I WILL ONLY BE PERFECT IN HEAVEN, NEVER DOWN HERE!

One day I'll be perfect when everything else around me is perfect.
Thanks for your comments! I think my daughter is almost ready for toilet training. She just doesn't want to sit on the little potty for more than 2 seconds! However, I have a feeling I won't have to wait as long as her brother. He wasn't ready until he was 3.5 years.
I hope you don't mind me subscribing to your site. I enjoy reading your poetry and writing. I am always uplifted or challenged or both! God has given you a special gift with words! He is glorified as you write and share what He has put in your heart.
I'm looking forward to that day...when perfection is achieved to the praise and glory of our Lord! Have a blessed and peaceful weekend.
