The 2008 Olympics Will Be Super!
I'm excited for all the athletes! Eric Shanteau is battling cancer, but he'll be representing team U.S.A. in swimming. Gymnastics is always awesome, track and field, and so much more.
Naturally, the men's basketball team is the team I know the most about. Coach K from Duke is the head coach, and it's so neat the atmosphere that the team has, and the bond that they're developing. I have enjoyed reading these quotes, and am delighted to pass them your way, too!
The guys are working really hard, and so far the only sad news is that LeBron's ankle is giving him fits, but I'm hopeful he'll be back soon.

O.K., so the mom was neglectful, and left them in the car. Yes, the case was turned over to Child Protective Services, but shouldn't the kids be placed in state care while all this gets investigated? I mean, yeah, hooray, she didn't take them into the bar, but is leaving them in a car proper, either?

A 3-year-old and a 4-month-old are with their mother after being left in a vehicle outside the Time Out Inn early Saturday morning.
According to a Warsaw Police Department report, the two children were inside a van parked outside the bar at 1:35 a.m. Saturday.
The mother of the two children was located at the scene and took them home.
The report was forwarded to Child Protective Services.
The report doesn't state how long the children were in the van.
As of this morning, no charges have been filed in the incident.
