• Tonight I am hostessing a movie party. Actually, it is only a few of the McCasserole Clan coming over (4 or 5 ladies).

  McCasserole Clan?  You ask?  What's that?  Just a bunch of retired or nearly retired friends who are mostly Presbyterian, or have worked with us, or are friends who do lots of things together.  Some of us are/were (I am a drop-out of this activity) going to Alaska next week.  I dropped out because of health concerns.  A couple of others also dropped out of the plans for other reasons.  Hopefully, we will get to go at another time.

  Will and I trolled used car lots yesterday.  We found a couple we could tolerate.  Now I gotta figure out if I can afford to buy the car and let Will buy it from me over a period of time.  His truck was costing them way too much.  It had to go back.  He needs some kind of dependable transportation, but nothing fancy. 

  His wife and the kids are in the mountains with her family this week camping out.  So this is a good time to do such things.  I miss the little people though.  More pictures from the party.
