On Saturday, one of my friends invited me to the singing Christmas tree at her church. It was very good and very professional. We went at 3:15 and left about 5:45. We drove across town to attend the Christmas program at my son's church. He was in the program. He has a great bass voice and lots of stage presence. By the time it was over, it was after 9 PM. We went to one of the local favorite restaurants and all the others had breakfast food. I had a baked potato. It was after 11 when I returned, and about midnight when I went to bed.
I got up this morning a little after 6 and started cooking for the family dinner today. It was my mother's family Christmas dinner. It is usually the week before Christmas, but was changed this year. I took Dad and got back home about 4:30. I took a nap, worked on decorating the tree (It should be finished by the weekend--haha) worked on getting the room ready for overnight guest on Wed. night. Jean is staying over since she is helping chaperone the trip to Biltmore House. I graded some papers and did a few other things. Now I am working on this instead of going to bed....maybe.
