  • ...And you thought you had a bad day????

This morning Will, his wife and the kids and I met for breakfast.  Ian said grace before we ate.  I couldn't hear all he prayed about??  But I did hear him thank God for the Earth and gravity.  The waitress was standing waiting and she and I almost giggled.  He was so sincere.  I am sure God heard his prayer.

I am trading cars on Monday.  I went by today and just decided to go ahead and do the deed.  They didn't have the color I wanted, but I didn't want to pay extra for them to order the color--silver pine--but I am picking up the car on Monday.  I hope.

I didn't go to any of the "festivals" around today.  Storms, pain, and just plain tired made me stay away.  BF went on to the Greek festival, but left early and said it wasn't nearly as much fun without me.  Isn't that sweet?  I spent a whole day doing what I had to do except for the car thing.  I kinda had to do that before the end of the month anyway, so I guess it does count.

Dad is having a bad weekend .  He has been having them call me and he gets on the phone and begs me to take him home.  He cries and it just breaks my heart.  I think that isn't helping me get any better, I'm thinking.  right now, though, my brother is in Puerto Rico for another year and a half, and my sister is still 3 hours away and has her own issues.  So every turn is my turn.

    Have a good Sunday, everyone.

  • You are between a rock and a hard place, are you not? With your dad I know how hard it must be. With my kids...they could care less. So it is a good thing I am in good health, physically anyway!

Have a great day and show us a pic of the car!

  • That police car getting stuck in cement is cute!  LOL!

I'm sorry that you're having such troubles.  Take care!
