I have only been to spring in Vermont, but that was just a pale fall, or autumn if you prefer.
We had an uneventful trip to meet my sister. Dad was complaining some about not being able to drive. He said he could drive and I agreed with him, but reminded him that he can't see.....but I thought he could probably still drive.
Was I going to regret that comment. Later, I mentioned I was going to stop at a rest stop for a minute and walk about because I was getting a bit sleepy. He piped up, "I can drive if you are getting sleepy." haha! Like that would happen. I got home a little after 3 and napped until nearly 7:45. I am going backto bed soon. The doctor changed some of my meds on Friday, so I got to figure this out.
My younger son and his girlfriend took me to dinner Friday in celebration of my birthday. It was a nice and dark little place downtown, but the food was primo. I have steak about once a year, this one was the best I have had in....about a year or more.
So far the retirement place has not called this evening, so Dad must be doing okay. I hope so.
In case I have forgotten to mention it, I am taking a class for the next few weeks. It is about time to renew my certificate. So I have to take courses to update it. Also, this is my year for evaluation.. I have to jump through lots of hoops to prove I still got it. Our science scores were up this past year, so that was a good thing. That means even though they were a handfull most of the time, they learned something.
Have a good week, and try to stay out of trouble.....RIIIIIIIGHT!
I tried to tell you to stay out of trouble.

A late...Happy Birthday. I've never been to Vermont but have heard the foliage is beautiful there. No doubt to your still having it so I would bet you will pass with flying colors. We had some much needed rain showers yesterday so it's back to cold mornings brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Glad you had a good trip. The pic of autumn trees makes me yearn for E Tn. I love the fall.....by then I am so ready for cooler weather!
Take care.
