• "Wishing and hoping and dreaming and working way too hard at nothing...."

  
  Remember a few days ago when the granddogs spent a night with me? Here is a little sample of their fun times. Maggie is the 'old girl' she is about 9 or 10.
  
  
  Edy, the little girl, just over a year old, scoped out the place and put down on the top of the papa san cushion the kids like to sleep on when they come over.
  
  I have been busy all day and accomplished nothing. Well, nearly nothing. I did get the kids from school and got Ian redressed for his concert with the singing group. The younger choirs performed at a nursing center in town. The kids and I went to the concert since we had to drive him over anyway. I dropped them off to their Mom when they were finished at about the same time she finished with her afterschool programs. I did not want to get into the "I'm hungry, what's for dinner?" scenerio.
  
  Not going to my class tonight. I just am not up to it. Lots of reasons, but I just have to pull back and rest a bit.
  
  
  I have a penguin just like this one. I have dozens and dozens and dozens of penguins and things with penguins on them. Dozens and dozens.
  I am still saying a prayer for my friends in the bad weather areas. I hope you are warm and safe tonight. We set another temp record today. Supposed to be a little cooker tomorrow...as in 70 or 71. Then the cooler weather comes in for a few days. I will deal with it when it gets here.
  Sometimes I miss having a man to ask to check whether we have a big leak in the water lines or pipes or something. I will get out and check it out....and do whatever I need to do. I still need to figure it out.
