At least they haven't brought in any logs to burn....
Things are being moved over here tonight, but not everything...I am trying to move over...Gonna run out of room at some point, but we are fine now....at least until the next load arrives...with the doggies.....
I went over and waited until the movers put the items into the POD this morning. Then I got some boxes at the grocery store, went over to pay Dad's bill at the nursing home......and! wonder of wonders!....he had a credit, so nothing was owed. They called Medicaid and the lady said she had sent a letter about another paper we need, so I have to wait until tomorrow or whenever it arrives......Then I took care of some things in Easley, stopped and gave Jean something I was holding for her(a paper about retirement). I stayed and visited about 30 minutes. She got about 6 phone calls while I was there...wow.
Then I stopped and got a fast food lunch (a real treat for me anymore), Dropped the boxes off at the "old" place, and came home. I took a nap to try to get my legs to stop hurting. It helped a little. I moved a bunch of stuff around getting ready for people and their stuff and dogs and their stuff. haha!
I met Jonathan and Brooke for a fast dinner at a deli for dinner, then went to the store for a couple of things. not much.
I have a job for Tues, Wed. and Friday for this week. Since I didn't get to work any last week, I really need these days to survive at the beginning of next month.
I probably won't get as many jobs the next two weeks since the PACT testing is being done those weeks. If I am lucky, I will get some calls to give the makeup tests...it pays much better than regular subbing.
I know, this is just a boring blog, but I need to keep up with and note what I do from day to day to get from one place to another in my life. My family is important to me. They are all interrelated and intertwined with my life and my focus in life. It is what I am about too.
Okay, that is it for me tonight.

I am always looking for graphics to use in mine and mainly anything with cats,. went bike riding with my daughter catlady73 after work, and then took the grandkids down to a neighbor to visit a while. Felt so good to get out. SO not much time on line tonight, just r trying to get to a few people to say hello. catch ya later.
I think your emphasis on family is truly refreshing. Your dad is so blest to have you! God will cause the tide to come in one day filled with blessings for you who have been such a blessing to others!

Your blog is your spot, don't apologize for being intertwined with your family! Silly girl.
I think it's charming.
Also, that dog is ADORABLE!!
While living in different worlds, we have much in common -- I'm getting ready to move back to my home town to be with my parents (86 years old tomorrow). Family is important and those who do focus on them have all my love and encouragement. We are one of the only cultures in the world that don't seem to care about our elders -- I think we should, so kudos to you and never appologize for it!!!!
Hugs, Niki
Dear Cynthia,
Since you are blogging about the move, the updates are needed so we can keep up. When I had to clear some stuff out of the garage the other day, I realized I can't lift and carry stuff around like I used to, and if I ever move, I'll have to employ actual "moving guys" or else I'll break something I'm sure.
(I had to go back and read backposts to find out that you aren't moving!)
