MOM
Since topic ONE didn't get much interest, I decided let's move forward. And since I host this site I can do that
Write a letter to your Mother. It doesn't matter if she is in heaven or on earth. Tell her what she means to you...
You can make it a simple list, your own poem, pictures, song or fairy tale, mystery, fun, serious; it's up to you... it's your blog! ~ feel free to use pictures, songs...you choose, we enjoy!
Mists of Time
Somewhere in the mists of time, I lost you.
I dropped your hand, and you were gone.
I am so forlorn without your power and strength.
You were so tired.
As soon as I turned loose,
I knew I would never find your hand--or you again.
I miss you.
A wisp in the wind,
A droplet of dew,
A memory in the mist,
You are gone.

WOW!

just stopping by to say hello and hope your day is well. Well I should let my dad know I am here. My car is in the garage so he wouldn't know so later

I think about my Mother often and I feel the grief every Mother's Day. I keep her picture in my living room and often talk to her as I admire her picture, she was a very pretty woman and I know she is even more beautiful now because she is with dad.
Sounds like you and your mum had a great relationship. The poem is awesome. RYC: FMS sucks, eh?
Lovely, lovely poem. I miss my mother also but try hard not to think long and hard as I can still cry after 25 years. Mom's never lose their value to the children who love them.
Have a good week,
This just reminds me again that I am lucky to still have my mother. I'm sorry for your loss.
What a wonderful poem! I'm lucky to still have my Mom. Have a great weekend! *hugs*
Dear Cynthia,
Possibly the best thing you've written. (That I've read anyway.)
This put tears in my eyes.

The poem is both powerful and tender. Those few lines say it all.
