  • Did I remember to tell you that some 16 year old kid who is still in the 8th grade told me on Friday that "It's teachers like you who make this school a living hell."  Yep, in his worst, lowest, most intimidating-wanna be voice.  Well, if it is so hellish, why doesn't he try to do something to get out of the 8th grade instead of just taking up space?  He is very smart, but so, so, so trifling (trifling, btw, in Southern Speak means: does less than a little, badly, but knows how to do it and tells anyone who is trying to do it what a bad job they are doing)  He is breathing air that someone else may need!  Ah, back to work.

I made all 5 days last week.  Some better than others.  Shooting for another 5 this week too.  More later.

  • A 16-year old who is still in the 8th grade? Woah, sounds like he should do more studying and give less grief to his teachers.

Hope you have a good week and make all 5!

  • That is really sad.  I recall classing with a fellow who was 17 and still in the 8th grade.  I think he was trying to avoid the draft (Viet Nam) as he was soon to turn 18. At least he kind of had an excuse. Makes you wonder where the heck are these kids parents? Hope you have a great week!
  • I reread your poetry and it is so powerful. You are surely a talented person. I also liked this blog for I was at the YMCA where I go six days a week for workouts and there was a bulletin for Tae Kwon kids that I especially liked. If you visit my site, I will post it today.

You keep on keepin' on with the poetry...I enjoy it very much.
