  • A Day at the Ballpark!

Natalie is playing the softball this year and Eric is playing baseball.
It is Natalie's first try with the sport and we finally got Eric to
do it again after T-ball bored him to death five years ago. They are
both really very good for it being their first year. Their coaches
keep asking us if it is really their first year.

We were at the ballpark yesterday for six hours straight. We would have
been there the whole day if Tyler was playing T-ball. We know families
who did that very thing. The sun was shining but there was a cold wind
so we bundled up for a day of baseball and softball.

It was a fund raiser tournament. The season opener is next week. Natalie
had two games first. She was a little nervous at first but got a great
hit the second game and made it to second base. She also made a great
    play at second.

Then Eric had two games back to back. He was also a little nervous and either
struck out or was walked. I'm not sure if he ever got a hit. I missed a lot of
Eric's games because I'm constantly turning around to make sure that Tyler and Natalie
are still playing and haven't run off. They are really good at that!

It was a fun day and so nice to be outside enjoying the sunshine.
