Rob and I threw a "Done with Chemo - Thank You for
your help! and Happy Birthday to Natalie party" at
the local skating rink. It was a lot of fun. We've had a ton
of help from friends and neighbors these last 8 months so
we wanted to do something nice for them. We rented the local
skating rink for Family Home Evening. It just happened to also
be Natalie's birthday so we all sang Happy Birthday and she had
her own cake. I think she really enjoyed it. It was either that
or wait until the end of the month and I'm so ready to put this
behind me. It was a really fun activity and I think everyone
had a really great time!
We had over a hundred people there so we had three fun cakes. Yummo! Notice that Natalie's cake is, of course, a "Hannah Montana" cake. It also says happy birthday to our great friend Craig Pett who shares a birthday with Natalie.
We had a lot of novice skaters and there was a lot of falling down, but I think they all had a really fun time trying. This was Tyler's first attempt at roller skating and he did pretty good.
Rob did the Hokey Pokey on skates! It was also fun to see couples skating and families having a fun time together.
Eric's teacher, Mr. Davis, Natalie's teacher, Ms. Dykes and her baby and Eric's 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Hutchinson all came for the fun!
Taking a little break and eating some cake!!!! We all sang Happy Birthday to Natalie!

AWWWW! I am sooo sorry I missed it. Final night and a sick kid at home kept me. I am glad it was a nice time though. I wish I had known it was Natalie's birthday too, I feel terrible we did not bring anything for her. It looks like I missed out on alot of fun!
What a fun way to celebrate. Looks like so much fun.
