Weight Watcher update
So, I was up early and off to the hospital to have my port removed.
I joked with the nurse that I hoped the port (which is very small and
light) weighed five pounds because after my surgery, I was going to
stop by weight watchers on the way home. She must have not realized
I was joking because she said, "Oh, that tiny thing probably doesn't weigh
more than an ounce." Well, the surgery went well and I was off to weight
watchers and I lost 4.8 pounds. Yea! It has been a stressful and crazy week.
I really wondered if I'd lost anything at all. I know stress can make you gain
and I'm a serious emotional eater. Good thing I was being careful...

Good for you!
Do you like WW?
I find that weight watcher is the most realistic diet. I really like the points system but that is the kind of person I am- structured. If you splurge a little one day, then you can eat vegetables along with it. Most veggies are free points, you need them anyway and your not restricted to just staying home and eating pre made meals that are disgusting. I tried Nutrisystem and only survived on that food for three days before I sent it back for a refund, which was a pain. It was bland and dry. Not my thing. I've always had the best luck with WW and it is the closest diet with the nutrition basics I know we all should be following anyway.
WOW, that is incredible!!!! I am sooo happy for you!
Way to go! Sorry if you put that 4.8 pounds back on tonight. It was worth it though right...good food, good times! : )
YEAH!!! 'Im so glad.
Casey,
I just checked in on your blog and how happy we are to see you have a clean bill of health. Oh what a relief I 'm sure for your family. I was scrolling through your cancun photos and laughing because we were in Cozumel in Dec. and have many of the same photos from Tulum! It is beauiful there. Looks like you had a great time.
Well, you looked great in the photos so I don't know why you are worried about doing weight watchers. Take care and keep in touch when you have a moment!
