Spring Break at the Gulf!
We had a great time last week in Gulf Shores, Alabama! Our awesome friends,
the Toliver's, have a beach house down there and invited us to come join them
for some fun in the sun!
We drove down on Tuesday and then played in town on Wednesday because it was cloudy and a bit drizzly. That didn't keep us from having a good time though. We had a great "Southern" meal at a restaurant where they throw rolls across the room and keep the fried okra, black eyed peas and fried potatoes and onions coming throughout the meal. Yummy! We left very full!
Thursday and Friday, it was off to the beach and playing in the lagoon. Oh, and lounging around and reading and relaxing too. It was a very relaxing, wonderful vacation with a super fun bunch of people.
We had a blast with our great friends and even took a nap or two.
Thanks Tolivers!!!!

I LOVE Gulf Shores! I've been in that gift shop that has the giant shark mouth, too. Fun!
I've never been to the restaurant where they throw the rolls, but I have heard all about it. I'm glad that you all had such a nice time.
Oh, how fun! It sounds like the perfect break. You sure deserved it. I've missed your posts. I guess that's where you've been. Glad you had such a great time.
That house is amazing! Is that the beach right behind it or the sound. How fun! Don't know about the friend okra part but the rest of it sounded great! : ) I'm glad you all had a great time. How's the sunburn???
My husband went to Gulf Shores almost every year growing up. That beach house is amazing. What great family bonding time.
