Galatians 2:20 (English Standard Version)
20I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
After deciding I would stay at school as long as it took to complete some paperwork, I finally made it home a little before 10 p.m. The Voo was already in bed but Chris was up watching the History channel. I sat down to hear Chris tell me that our son uttered the above words, "It's MY life!" Chris asked Voo to sit down and watch a hockey game with him... It is an ongoing thing--- Chris loves watching sports on TV and thinks everyone else should enjoy it as much as he does. So he asked Voo about 6 times to watch the game with him, to which Voo said, 'No' and finally he said, "It's my life! I don't want to watch hockey on TV!"
So, this morning, I was still deciding whether I wanted to get out of bed when Voo came up to ask if I was picking him up early from school today for a baseball game his team is playing this afternoon. I said, "I don't know...after all, it is MY LIFE!" Of course, I yelled MY LIFE! He looked at me and started laughing. I told him it wasn't funny AT ALL! I discussed with him that he indeed might have 'a life' but it was going to be short lived if he had that attitude!
