perhaps he is, from what i hear you're saying- it seems so.  i think that the worst punishment from God is allowing the person continue on with what they are doing and reaping the consequences of their sin.

    hmm.

I read the article..I did not like it very much.  Especially the way that the author further backs up Romney in his comments and states that Romney has not attacked Hucklabee, which is truly an idiotic thing to say because lately thats all Romney has been doing.

I think that Huckabee would be a good President..I haven't done a lot of research on him and I plan to do so before I vote, if I vote.  He seems like an outstanding christian man that stands by his faith and his believes and does not waver from them.  I think his response to the question of if he thought mormonism was a cult was maybe not the best response but he was telling the truth.  Yes they are a cult and although they believe in Jesus Christ their religion does not offer them a direct way to get saved, only the bible can do that, and because they follow the book of Mormon they twist things around a lot more than they should.

Huckabee seems to be a good guy, and everybody does make mistakes and say wrong things under pressure.  We are all human afterall.  I think if he is using his faith as a way to "manipulate" and get christians to vote for him, then God will punish him for that.  But really when thinking about that question, wouldn't it hurt him more to use his faith? I think that it is more of a risk for him to do what hes been doing and being so loud with his christian faith.  There are so many people out there who are logical scientists who believe in evolution, agnostics, and atheists who would never vote for a christian.

I can't see how it would be a smart thing for him to be doing what hes doing.  But I think its awesome that he is standing up for Jesus.  About TIME!

Agree with your post - he's totally using Christ to bolster his political position. I wouldn't consider Romney a fellow Christian though - has nothing to do with his character. Just a distinction that LDS is a different religion - different doctrine of God, of sin, of salvation/atonement. The two can't both be right, there's way more differences than similarities. Here's a good link I found that may help http://www.carm.org/lds/compare.htm. My wife has a friend who grew up Mormon and is now Christian, she gave us a whole bunch of info on this.

I have Mormon neighbors and many Mormon friends throughout the years. Real nice folks, very moral. Have some in the family. They may (I hope) be saved one day. But they're part of a different religion as it stands now.
