God Gave Me Xanga
This year a lot has happened in my life. I got engaged; I ended up heartbroken and alone. I moved from a big city to a small town. I made new friends. I started going to a new church. And I became a Xangian.
In a new city with a new church, no local friends, and a broken heart, life has been a little emotional, to say the least. But one thing God gave me was Xanga.
No, Xanga is not the best blessing...but rather the people I have talked to or comment back-and-forth with...is the true blessing. Who knew that the world was full of such amazing people?
The blessing of hearing from wonderful people over Xanga was good, but even more importantly, when my heart belonged to a not-so-ideal guy, God used Xanga to help me realize that I am better off without this guy because people like the people who comment on my site exist. It's encouraging.
I spend my days smiling knowing that I will, one day, meet someone who is as wonderful as the people I have heard from on Xanga.
Also, I "met" people who have gone through the same type of heartbreak and relationship-difficulty as I. It's hard to say what I am going to say because I know the pain that these situations can bring, but I am almost glad that there are others who have gone through or are going through the same things as I. It's encouraging to see that they are surviving and continuing their lives amidst the hardships they have encountered.
So, in short, I thank God for Xanga and for everyone I have "met" through Xanga. *SMILES*

I'm glad that God has provided you with strength through the relationships He has provided. Having survived this painful experience, you are now equipped to serve others who hurt in the same way. It's amazing how comforting a kind heart and a shared experience can be for someone in pain.
I also feel blessed to be a part of Xanga. While I haven't gone through a difficult situation like you, the people I talk with bless me and encourage me so much. I love to meet new people...on Xanga, not necessarily so much in real life. I tend to be very shy in public until I know people well. Then, there is no stopping me from talking, talking, talking.
I enjoy your posts so much! I'm glad you are a part of xanga:) I was bored with it, but I may start posting more now.
I love xanga not sure what I would do without it.
I love Xanga, too!
I don't post much. I might start in 2008.
