When life gives you lemons.....
I had a really off night at pottery class tis week. I couldn't
get the clay to center right, and the walls of my pots were too
thin in places, and too thick in places. This pot was going
pretty well till my pinky finger accidently grazed the thin wall, and
the side collapsed. I stopped the wheel, and we looked at it for
awhile. Our teacher said that it reminded her of an old
cartoonish man's face. SO that is what he bacame...The Grumpy Old
Man!
He will be a planter..maybe with some wild, green chives growing for
hair. He also has ear pockets for growing small things...like
maybe a potato or two. 
All I need to do is clean him up a bit, and glaze him...unless any of you sees another idea!

Yesterday was the first homschool art class, put together and negotiated by Artsyfriend!
Thanks for ll of those ideas of where to get kids' clothes! I do
the dope slap about Ebay...that would be perfect! There is an Old
Navy (or two or three) in Tucson. There may be one in our little
mall too...I don't know. That shows you how much I like to shop,
ay?
