 Today's haiku is a "Thursday thinker".....a deep question to be answered in haiku form.  Today's question: "What is your greatest wish?"

accent what we share
learn of all our differences
let that be *all right*

daily haiku

I just went to the Daily Haiku to see the responses of the day.  Go check them out...there are some really provocative wishes in there!

I really like doing this every day..a haiku is very short, and fairly easy to do..a form that is not  overwhelming...one can create a poem pretty quickly...and then you feel like a poet for the rest of the day.

The form is 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the 2nd line, and 5 syllables again in the third line.
5-7-5

Grassy marshland in Arizona?  Yes, it can happen!  (especially when it is man-made):

this shot was taken through the binoculars..the birds were pretty far away...

Our water treatment facility has a wildlife viewing area, and we found it after dinner the other night...

Uncskainch and I invite you to participate in a joint photo blog this Friday!  The theme of the photo blog is:
"Did March come in as a lion or a lamb where you live?"

Please post your photos this Fiday, March 4th, and then let us know by leaving a comment on this site or with Uncskainch.   Then we will post a link from our sites to all of you who are participating....

And if you feel particularly excited about this..(can you tell that I do?) feel free (please?) to cut and paste this photoblog message into your site to spread the word...or just mention a blurb about it...

Question... is it within the rules of participation if I've already posted the photo last week?

I just posted about that on March 1.  Does that count?

I machine sewed the fabrics in the star pattern.  I used a paper-pieced pattern that I found at http://www.quilttalk.com/paperpiece/triplestar.html

Yes, please link my March 1st post in the photoblog tomorrow.
