Like a lamb, Baby!
That's how she came! Windy and cool yes...but sunny with blue skies.
This is ds here, looking cool for his mother. (It wasn't easy getting him to pose..)

Golden sunshine through those bare tree branches....

a viola in our front garden...

spring is sprouting up all over...
Remember that tomato that was ((alive))??? Here we are two weeks after
planting. This picture is for Artsy, (the friend who gave me the
tomato long ago) who is eagerly awaiting a view of her tomato
grandchildren...
And it's definately spring when the grocery store sells outrageous daisies like these!
an in-the-vase-view of those daisies...
And finally...if it feels like spring, one must have refreshment that hints of warmer weather and good times outside....
((chocolate coke!!!!!!))
I hope I don't sound too gloaty... (ducking a few face
slaps...) I live in Arizona, where we are just happy to have a bit of
rain in the winter. Water is good for the body, ya know? I
've had a sneak peak of some beautiful fallen snow pictures of "
lion starts" to March, and I must say I am envious.
And snow may not look to beautiful to some of you at this time of year
I know...I grew up near Lake Erie, and was sick of all that lake effect
snow by February...so much that I refused to play in it. So for
those of you hanging by your last thread and crawling the walls in
search of the hopeful symbolic crocus in the (gray) snow...I feel your pain,
and hope it thaws out very soon!
And just think...when your gorgeous weather arrives by May, I will have been
sweltering in the heat for a month already...hiding indoors till
October. (-:
"Friday free-for-all" haiku. For my love of coffee:
Cream in my coffee
The real stuff; not non-dairy
in my cup no more
(still trying to fit into those jeans better)
and another of earlier this week:
enough about me
what do you think about me?
can you repeat that?
