Sunpainted image wrapped around the mug! I plan to do several of these as I sunpaint some more.
I lost my library book bag last summer, and I greatly miss it! (plastic grocery bags are tricky with sharp book corners) So, my next sunpainting/tie dyeing project is going to be tote bags...I'm in the process of trying bags of different material. I got some really inexpensive canvas totes at Wal-Mart this week, but found on the care tag that they really aren't meant for washing (and I wanted to put fabric paint and dye on these!) I will try, anyway, and see how it goes. They seem really sturdy. I'll try to keep the fabric smooth with the iron. I have some "ready to paint/dye" tote bags on order at Dharma Trading too.
