 Doodling with light......

This idea came from Stacy_cats' December photo blog a-long entry, when she posted spiral light trail long exposure shots of her Christmas tree lights. (just go see what I mean)   I loved her idea, and got the opportunity to try it this weekend at my mom's house. 

So here are some shapes I "drew" with my camera as it took 2-4 second exposures of lights on the Christmas tree.  The lights trailed as I moved the camera........

I made squiggles.....



a boogie woogie squiggly  tree:




then spirals.......





and triangles:




and squares:




and lots of love hearts:

Oh wow, I especially like the shots where I can still tell that it came from a Christmas tree.

I'm glad you like the book.  I'm still enjoying mine and still finding useful information in every chapter.
