"Steve"- our friend, the Cottonwood tree
Pringles pinhole, exposure: 2 minutes
For some reason, it was very difficult to get a correctly exposed photo of Steve. I must have attempted it 10 times. That was actually nice- coming out to Steve, to stretch out under his big, shady, bark-bumpy arms (on the unhurried days) Sometimes, it was just a quick run-out (kids in the car) hoping that *this* time, it would work out right.
It finally did! Much to my family's happiness, who love Steve like I do, but are ready to clobber me with that pinhole camera sometimes...
Upcoming pinhole projects:
I'm planning to make ATC-sized pinhole photos, anyone want to trade?
I might like to make a Blurb book with some pinhole photos- thanks to Belskaylar and my SIL for the encouragement....and with upcoming vacation to far off exotic land ("exotic" meaning any place green with lots of water, which fits the description of our destination) I may get some interesting shots.
I might like to take pinhole shots around my community, and see if the local library might host some wall space for their display. Since the pinhole photos have a unique distortion and old time feel, it might be kind of fun for people to recognize where the shots are taken.
I might think about teaching a city-sponsored pinhole photography class , and coordinate it with World Pinhole Photography Day in in April, if possible.
