Yesterday I.......

* Woke up far from home

*Drank an elixir of fresh roasted coffee, made with love and honed skill

*ate pancakes made with same great love, and doubly so, with another wonderful friend's homemade raspberry preserves- oh Heaven!

*Saw my first Bald Eagle

*Canoed into thousands of lily pads, many were blooming lotus-like flowers

*Squished my toes into wet sand, ran across the softest grass I ever remember

*French braided little girls' hair in said soft grass under draping green, trees

*ate yummy food with a spectacular sunset marina view of Lake Washington

*strolled city and park at 9pm- and the sun was still up!

*all of this, bathed in the company and love  of longtime, wonderful friends

*delighted in my own little family enjoying themselves so much

Life is wonderful!
