SO ...  How are you anyway?

Here's whatz happenin' in our neck of the woods:

I like Moses - he's coming along just fine.

Yes, even the coolest need to be pacified sometimes.

Moses can even make chestpants look cool.

"Oh yeah!"

It was a Happy Birthday to Abby last weekend!

Two techs work on AMW's new treadmill, under the able direction of MellowMorton.

Hey? Where did she come from?

(born in Decatur, Illinois, raised in Champaign)

and before the time bell rings, let's have a round of applause for Josh Groban ....

not as good as Alison, but alright

I've really enjoyed your baby posts of late.  You have some pretty cool grandsons, all right.   And your "needs" were pretty good, too, haha.

Are you kidding?  Dad's not unusual at all.  : )  I guess we've been in a few bookstores together, and very few other kinds of stores....

Great pics Grandpa!  I especially liked the pic of you and Martha somewhere on LSD (it looked like).  Speaking of chestpants........how about you working in a pair during a skit at campout??  I'm sure the other Xangans would approve as well!

CLARITY ALERT!!!  For those that don't live in the Chicagoland area---SirMcSongebath was talking about LAKE SHORE DRIVE when he wrote "somewhere on LSD (it looked like)."  I thought that might needed a bit clearer.  That was so funny, CCT that you thought Rich meant the drug.  You know the saying, "I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you?"  Well, in this case I was laughing at you     HA! HA!   That's what you get for you and Shaun using my Xanga site at the Wheelers.  ~~  Thanks again for the effort you put into the home study, it was much appreciated and interesting.

PS  Here's the Lyrics to the song.  We thought we were so cool back then in the 60's and 70's saying were were riding high on LSD.  Silly kids.  But it really brings back so many good memories of my youth.    A few notes: "Rich to rags" is talking about the rich part of the city--Michigan Ave -the gold coast and "rags" is the south side--where the neighbourhoods are in the poor class.  "Hollywood" is a street.  The "water," of course is Lake Michigan and the "smell of green" is the parks along the lakeshore.

Lake Shore Drive  by Aliotta, Haynes, and Jeremiah

There’s a road I’d like to tell you about, lives in my home town
Lake Shore Drive the road is called and it’ll take you up or down
From rags on up to riches fifteen minutes you can fly
Pretty blue lights along the way, help you right on by
And the blue lights shining with a heavenly grace,
help you right on by

And there ain’t no road just like it
Anywhere I found
Running south on Lake Shore Drive heading into town
Just slippin’ on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

And it starts up north from Hollywood, water on the driving side
Concrete mountains rearing up, throwing shadows just about five
Sometimes you can smell the green if your mind is feeling fine
There ain’t no finer place to be, than running Lake Shore Drive
And there’s no peace of mind, or place you see, than riding on Lake Shore Drive

And there ain’t no road just like it
Anywhere I found
Running south on Lake Shore drive heading into town
Just slicking on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

And it’s Friday night and you’re looking clean
To early to start the rounds
A ten minute ride from the Gold Coast back make sure you’re pleasure bound
And it’s four o’clock in the morning and all of the people have gone away
Just you and your mind and Lake Shore Drive, tomorrow is another day
And the sunshine’s fine in the morning time, tomorrow is another day

And there ain’t no road just like it
Anywhere I found
Running south on Lake Shore drive heading into town
Just snaking on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

Milton the Monster - probably the late 1960's - he was a 'friendly' monster who looked kind of like Frankenstein.  As the song explains, he was nice because they spilled too much tenderness in the mix during his creation ...  I mean, if you're going to have a problem making your monster, that's the kind of problem to have.

The boys are doing much better this morning.   You're right, it isn't that easy being 5, and 2!  "Hi" to Finney family tonight for supper!

Love the chestpants look...I think that should be the next big fashion rage. : )  I agree with Sir McSpongebath on the skit thing for the campout--good idea!
