I've had such a good time this weekend hanging out with My Boys.  Friday night they had their second softball game of the season, which I went to.  It was so much fun!  I sat in the bleachers and cheered like a crazy woman!  And then, to top it all off, they won!   It was way cool.

Last night we all had a cookout at Troy's house.  We played wiffleball in his backyard before we ate.  Friends, I've really got to get myself to the batting cages.  I used to be able to hit fairly well, but I was missing everything last night.  It was pitiful, yet fun.  Troy's backyard isn't very big, and it's surrounded by a high fence.  Combine that with My Boys who like to blast the ball as hard as they can, and you had a lot of balls landing in the neighbor's yard.  So there was much fence-jumping.  It amuses me how competitive boys are - first Hot Josh was jumping the fence to retrieve the ball, and then Tex had to do it, and then Sparkboy had to show that he could too.  I just sat back and enjoyed the show...

After we ate we all played Star Wars Trivial Persuit.  I used to think I was fairly expert on Star Wars, at least Episodes 4-6, but I have been humbled.  I couldn't remember the name Grandmoth Tarkaan.  It was so frustrating!  I could remember what Leia says when she sees him (...I recognized your stench when I was brought on board) but I just couldn't remember his name.  Tex, my teammate, had no clue either.  Troy's team won, significantly aided by a series of questions that just happened to all have the answer of Luke Skywalker.  There's a strong suspicion he might have stacked the deck...

The other way fun part of the night was playing Mafia out on Troy's patio.  Now that was great.  Nothing like lieing and deceiving and pretending to kill your best friends to bond a group together!  Good times, good times...

Come on! Grand Moff Tarkan? are you kidding?  How could you miss that?  Sigh.  I haven't played star wars trivial pursuit for a while because when I played with my family the likelihood of getting wedges had more to do with the dice than the questions.  It was just too easy.  It sounds like you had fun though.  Kickass.

I know - it was totally embarassing.  And thanks for correcting my spelling - I was pretty sure I wasn't writing his name correctly.  Btw - how did we go from cool name like Grand Moth Tarkaan to stupid & obvious ones like General Grievous and Count Dooku?  (Noise of deep frustration)
