SOMETIMES LOVE HURTS!!!!
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT I READ TO DAY IN MY DEVOS.
A LITTLE BOY WAS WRESTLING WITH HIS DOG. HIS MOTHER WAS CONCERNED THAT HE WAS PLAYING TOO ROUGHLY AND SAID, "ERIC, I KNOW YOU LOVE ROCKER, BUT YOU'RE LOVING HIM TOO MUCH. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF SOMEONE HUGE PICKED YOU UP AND SQUEEZED YOU SO HARD YOU COULDN'T BREATHE?"
ERIC THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT AND THEN SAID, "I GUESS I'D FEEL LIKE IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY AND AUNT MARTHA WAS HERE!"
WE MAY LAUGH AT ERIC'S OBSERVATION, BUT WE ALSO KNOW THE TRUTH IN LOVING SOMEONE SO MUCH THAT IT HURTS. IT HURT SO MUCH FOR JESUS TO LOVE THE WORLD THAT IT FINALLY KILLED HIM. AND THOUGH IT HURT, IT WAS STILL HIS CHOICE. JESUS LOVED (AND CONTINUES TO LOVE) EACH ONE OF US SO MUCH THAT HE CHOSE TO PAY OUR DEATH PENALTY FOR SIN. BUT HIS LOVE DIDN'T END AT THE CROSS. GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE GRAVE, AND HE LIVES IN HEAVEN RIGHT NOW, PREPARING YOUR ETERNAL HOME WITH HIM. AND EVERY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE WORLD WHO CONFESSES HIS SINS, ACCEPTS THE CHRIST AS HIS SAVOIR, AND LIVES FOR HIM WILL SPEND FOREVER IN HEAVEN.
SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT GOD PLANNED TO SHOW THE WORLD HIS LOVE THROUGH JESUS, BUT WHEN PEOPLE REBELLED AGAINST HIM, SINNED, AND REFUSED TO FOLLOW HIM, HIS PLAN FAILED. JESUS WAS KILLED, AND GOD SIMPLY DID THE BEST COULD WITH PLAN B.
BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE. GOD DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES. HE KNOWS ALL, AND HE IS ALL-POWERFUL! HE KNEW, EVEN BEFORE HE CREATED PEOPLE, THAT WE WOULD REBEL AND SIN. WHEN HE SENT HIS ONLY SON TO EARTH, HE KNEW THAT JESUS WOULD BE THE SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS.
HERE ARE SOME VERSES THAT ARE ABOUT WHAT YOU JUST READ: DEUTERONOMY 6 : 5 SAIDS, "LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH." ANOTHER ONE IS PSALM 32 : 10 SAIDS, "MANY ARE THE WOES OF THE WICKED, BUT THE LORD'S UNFAILING LOVE SURROUNDS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN HIM." ONE ONE IS 1 CORINTHIANS 2 : 9 SAIDS, "HOWEVER, AS IT IS WRITTEN: `NO EYE HAS SEEN, NO EAR HAS HEARD, NO MIND HAS CONCIEVED WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.'"

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a
well. The animal cried piteously for hours as
the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the
well needed to be covered up anyway;
it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and
help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began
to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the
donkey realized what was happening and cried
horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he
quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally
looked down the well. He was astonished at what
he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel
dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it
off and take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and
happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds
of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well
is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out
of the deepest wells just by not stopping,
never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
Free your mind from worries - Most never happe n.
Live simply and appreciate what you have.
Give more.
Expect less
NOW ............
Enough of that crap . . The donkey later came back,
and bit the farmer who had tried to bury him.
The gash fr om the bite got infected and
the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.
MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:
When you do something wrong, and try to cover
your butt, it always comes back to bite you.
You have two choices...smile and close this

see relatedhey ya'll, sry i haven't up dated in awhile. :( i have been busy dealing with life. and i met a guy who is really nice and sweet. and he is a christian too. but the sad thing is, is that my parents won't give him chance b/c he drinks. :( which sucks b/c he isn't like any of the other guys i have like or met. i wish i could make my own choices when it comes to dating. cause i really like him and they always say that i have to start making my own choices but how can i if they are still making them for me? i just wish they would understand. oh well.
