Don't ya just love the holidays?

The long lines at the checkouts?
The whiny harmonies of "can i pleeeezz have that for xmas?"
Cold blast of wind while out for last minute excursions....
The "Gotta Get this House Cleaned Up" fever...
The fights over the "Just Right Xmas Tree"---not to mention the fun unstringing the lights!
Carbs, Carbs everywhere you look!!
Noise levels peaking above a colicky baby...
Electric bills that seem to SOAR....
Gossip and comparisons at family get togethers...

ACK!!

What were we thinking????

Its funny calling them 'holidays' 'breaks' and 'rests' and other terms like that. They're bloody hard work ! :)

Shop online... Take the stress out of the holidays..

I like having the gifts arrive at my door.. I order some of them wrapped too! LOL... No fuss.. LOVE IT!

I dealt w/ some long lines today. All of those last minute turkey-day-fixin's people were there...being pretty rude. *sigh* It's only the beginning.

This is the time of year that makes me very seriously consider applying for the job of town drunk....

Actually aside from the mouth-breathing drooling morons on our roadways, the holidays aren't so bad...especially when most of the shopping is done online. And since I don't see my side of the family very much, I don't get too stressed from that either. Though the alcohol helps out some...
