God, I thought that this day will never come.....but yaaaaaaaaay I'm finally done with my 120-hours of preceptorship at Kaiser ST!!! Oh boy, it was overwhelming, stressful, challenging, exhausting, but overall great experience that taught me a lot to be a competent nurse. No more
"next day clinical syndrome" where my anxiety won't put me to sleep, and no more worrying and stressing over for now. Seriously, I don't know if it only happens to me but everytime I have a clinical the next day, I get so anxious that I cannot sleep, twisting and turning, next thing I know I only had 2-3 hours of sleep. I could hate myself for getting so worried but getting super worried is also a factor why I study more and prepare myself for the next day. It was just really tough being on a day shift especially I had to wake up around 5 am. I guess my body's just not used to waking up hella early. Anyway, I'm so thankful that I had good reviews in my final evaluation from my preceptor with my instructor. At least all my hardwork paid off! Thank God!
So for my last shift last sunday, the staff threw me a little potluck. Although we couldn't go to same breaks together, we managed to use the playroom in the pedi unit to put the food there..Since it was too busy in the floor, we had to take our breaks separately.

lunch from Quiznos...it was so sweet of them!
During the end of shift report, still managed to take a picture!

Here's the 4-South Kaiser ST staff. My preceptor Patty is standing next to me on my left. Aww I'm gonna miss them..

Hopefully i can work with them in the future ---but I'd like a PM shift!
So the
biggest-major-most important-big deal-hardest-most challenging task for this semester is over! Now all i gotta worry about is my theory research class. Still gotta do one more presentation and the final. That's it and then i'm done! Process' final was already done last week. Countdown's down to 31 days, I'm so excited!

Greg's 28th birthday/Pajama party 4.18.08
Greg's birthday celebrated at Sheinely's house. Let the pictures do the talking....

It was a pajama party potluck slash house "clubbing". There was a DJ
there, who did not even play my request! Mind you, i requested the song
3 freakin times, hmp! Who wouldn't play Rihanna's "Don't stop the
music"? Hmp
talaga!

ahem, speaking of the DJ!

but it was still fun anyway...

putting an icing on Greg's face...hehe...poor birthday boy! lol..
This sign on someone's shirt cracked me up everytime I saw him pass by that I actually asked him if i could take a picture of it. Lol...

That's it for now folks...
Good nyte!

I didn't realize you guys were all wearing PJ's, thought that was cool.
As for the header, it was very simple text logo I made from (http://www.cooltext.com) however the navigation menu bar is not a Xanga compatible as the code works only wordpress. But there's a Xanga script for that, here http://www.createblog.com/scripts/script.php?id=195
Seems to me that you really went out of your way to have a good time after your clinicals. It just goes to show that you're letting out a big sigh of relief that it's over. =)
