first update (wrote on paper in LA International, but I'm uploading it from Singapore)

The mark that God has placed on this trip already is awesome.  In my daily bible study, I had just covered "you are the light of the world."  As I reflected on the passage on Thursday, I decided to make it my last study before I left, cause it seemed relevant to my trip. Satruday morning I wrote my last journal entry in this journal from home and reflected upon the passage again.  As I waited in the airport terminal today and prepared to leave, I began to read "The City of Joy", a book Rosey had reccommended to me (I had only read the introduction at home). I opened it up, and the page said: "Part One: You Are the Light of the World." Speechless was I. When things start coinciding like this good stuff always happens.  God is in charge on this trip.
