| Hey, for those of you who know my daughter Denise, this is an update on her wisdom tooth surgery. She is doing better and badly wants an Arby's Roast Beef sandwich with cheddar! I don't think she could eat it though! She felt really bad last night, but she is obeying doctor's orders and taking care of her mouth. Denise says "HI."
I starting painting a picture. So far, I just have sky looking a little cloudy. I haven't decided whether to make a summer scene or a winter one with snow and ice. Any ideas?
| Under the weather.Well, here I am with nothing to do, but I'm not bored, I just don't feel well. I don't even feel like painting, which is bad--I've gotten everything ready to proceed.
I want sunshine! Flowers! Warm weather! It will get here, though, and then it will get hot. Praise the Lord! Joy! Thank you, Jesus! You make all things beautiful in YOUR time.
| Well, "who'd a thunk it?" Here I am again. Thank you, Denise, for the comments. I am glad I have some older people friends on here with whom I can communicate.
I'm glad I got my paints. Now I need an easel and some canvases--not to mention a few more colors of oils for variety! I am looking forward to painting again! Maybe I'll do some writing, too!--Oh, I just did. Ha! Ha!
| Well, I haven't been on in a while. This is a new day for us older people in the family. We got cell phones! Yes! It took us all day to learn how to change the wall paper, skin (?--why it's called that is a mystery to me!) and change the tone. Pretty cool, though. Now if I can just figure out my new digital camera. . . . | | |
| Tuesday, January 3. I woke up depressed and bored. I slept too long. Well, with my daughter out of town and Christmas over, the only thing to look forward to is work!!!!!!!! I do have a retreat with the women in our church coming up, next month maybe. Hooray for that.
We went to see the Narnia movie a few days ago and it was awesome. I was introduced to those books about 25 years ago when our older children were young by a librarian whose husband was a Methodist minister. Our family has loved the series ever since. I used to read them aloud to our children.
