Well...it's 1.05 pm at the moment and I'm in a cyber cafe near my school. We dismissed early today...yahoo!!

Anyway...school was a little bit more interesting today. This time...we were able to sit on chairs. Finally...other wise...my butt is really gonna hurt from sitting on the floor . ("o) ouch!!!

OK...this is what I did on my 2nd day of school in MHS.

0545hrs  Woke up and cooked maggi mee for my sister, Yen to bring to school. Made some extras to give Jein and Wen.

0615hrs  Went to get ready. Tried tying my hair since the prefect said my hair was too long (which I don't think so) but failed. So...I just left it as it was...just clipped the sides only.

0630hrs  Left the house as usual to IJ. Met up with Wen to pass her the food.

0715hrs  Left IJ to MHS. Didn't want to be late again. No good to show a bad reputation for this first week, right? =p

0800hrs  Taklimat on the different packages offered in MHS and the topics which will be taught throughout lower and upper 6. Blah, blah, blah...

0925hrs  We were brought around the school compound. And let me tell you...the school is super big. Not only that...the field is like also super big. And our class block is like so far away from the main entrance gate. Then we lepak at the Sudut Pelajar, talking to friends.

1040hrs  Recess....me and Jack went to find a table which has a fan underneath it. It was so hot till I was bathing in my sweat.

1120  hrs  We break into groups again to continue our unfinished discussion on the sketch. And for your info...I'm not acting as anything at all. I'm just a behind the scene person. Gave some silly ideas on the act. Will tell you bout the sketch on Fri when it's being presented. It's going to be real funny for sure.

1240 hrs  Here I am....in Gula Melaka's Cyber Cafe typing in my entry.

First Day in Form 6

17th May 2004 – a day I can never forget

My first day as a Form 6 in a totally strange school to me is such a memorable one. Why strange you may ask? Well...let me explain...I was brought up in a all girl school since I was in primary till secondary. And now? I’m in a school where it’s a mix sex school. Felt really weird stepping into the school where the Form 1 – 5 are guys.

Anyway...this was what I did on my first day of school as a Form 6 student in a strange school to me.

6.00 am = Got up and did all the necessarry things.

Putting on the Form 6 uniform was weird too. Didn’t quite suit me. Still look childish actually.

6.30 am = Left the bouse with a little excitement.

6.55 am = Reached school. Start searching for Jack. Met her in the canteen. Went to give our Form 4 & 5 teachers a Happy Teacher’s Day gift.

7.20 am = Running to Jein’s class since we were already late to pass her some things. Wished her all the best for her mid-term exam.

7.37 am = Walked through my new school. Malacca High School. The prefects directed us to the hall. We were like Standard 1 kids who needs to be shown around. Looked for a place to sit since we were late. A little extra info: the guys didn’t dare to sit besides the girls and vice versa.

8.00 am = We waited and waited and waited.....

8 something = Finally one of the student council went up to welcome us. It was then continued with a speech by one of the counselling teacher by the name of Pn Salmah. Blah, blah, blah...And we had a Powerpoint presentation bout the school background, achievements, etc. More speeched by the disiplin teacher and another 2 pangkat teacher. Blah, blah, blah...(legs were cramped, back pain, stuffy, butt pain). And yeah...we had the registration too and had to pay 10 bucks for a file, school badge, some paper n the school rule book.

10.45 am = Yahoo!!! Recess...went to the canteen and it was like...eeww...yuck...so dirty...well...guy school...what you expect? Followed Jack to buy a plate of nasi bariyani, sat at one of the dirty and yucky tables near the sink. Then...there were some guys who played at the sink and splashed water all over. Another friend of mine got a little wet and was upset bout it.

11.00 am = Koperasi open...students lining up noisily buying the school tie which is in green n purple colour. Not a nice combination I must say. 

11.16 am = Went back to the hall lepaking with friends.

11.30 am = Another Powerpoint presentation by the school “Pusat Sumber”. The Pusat Sumber quite chun wor. There’s internet access, loads of books, there’s astro as well, lots of services I will say. Then the last speech of the day by the Pusat Sumber teacher. Blah, blah, blah....

1.00am = Finally some fun things to watch and do. The ex-MHS students had to sing their school song up front. They were like I don’t quite know what word to use. Out of tune? Tuneless? Everyone of them were singing differently and none of us could catch the tune. The president of the student council made us sing when we don’t even know how the school song sound like. Weird!! Then, we were separated into 10 groups. Thank God I had some school mates and I knew some of them in the group. We had to select a leader and a assistant. After selecting, we were to discuss what we’re going to present on Fri. The group project was another weird thing of the day. WE had to chose a Phua Chu Kang n family which has to be the opposite sex...meaning...PCK is a girl actress n Rosie is a guy actor. And also a baby PCK n baby Rosie. So...we did decide who played what roles...and we had a rough idea of what the sketch would be. Before we could finalise everything....RRRIIINNNGGG....school over.

So...that’s my first day of school as a Form 6 student in Malacca High School.

Alright!! My boring days are about to be over. But the serious days and weeks and months are just 2 days away. Can't wait to start Form 6 actually. Feeling so excited about it. It's so weird for me since I don't really like to go to school and study one. Most of the time when I go to school...is mainly because I'm forced to go and I can be with my friends. This is the first time I feel all excited bout going to school to study and not fool around.

Anyway...can't stay long. Got to see what is my godsis, Jein, up to lately. Adios!

Wow...10 days has passed since I stopped working and I’m BORED!! Take note...a big letter ‘B’. Let me tell you what I’ve been doing for this past 10 days if I can remember.

Day 01 – 1st May

Got up bout 11 some thing when I usually get up at 8am. Hang around in the house doing nothing till 2.30pm. Went to church for practise for bout an hour. Then joined the ladies for some line-dancing at 5pm.

Day 02 – 2nd May

Go to church lor...as usual. Didn’t do anything unusual also.

Day 03 – 3rd May

Lepak at home doing nothing. Oh wait....I did go out on that day...but can’t remember where. Short term memory now.

Day 04 – 4th May

Same as day 03 except for going out.

Day 05 – 5th May

Went to office for a while coz some last minute work not done. Then got a taxi to send me to school and make some noise. Went to check the Form 6 list as well. Bout 1 some thing...met my collogue for lunch and after lunch....I went to Renaissance Hotel for a new hair cut. More like repairing my hair. Come back home....it’s routined stuffs.

Day 06- 6th May

Got up at 6am, got dressed and went back to school sleepily. School was having a dance competition which my sister and godsis took part. It was so fun seeing them dance. Now...where can you find that sort of fun in other schools la? Besides...I had some teachers complaining what am I doing there, making lots of noise. Told them I missed them so much and want to see them.

Day 07 – 7th May

Got up early again. But this time...I went to my mum’s school. The kids were so so noisy and they’re little rascals to describe them. IN the afternoon....went back to my school again. What? School again? Haha...I really miss my school days actually. Anyway...waited for my godsis, Jein, and we walked to Mahkota. Went to meet her boyfriend as well who came so late...bout 30 minutes before I had to leave. And we were searching for a handphone cover to replace my spoilt one. Took us ages to finally find one that seems nice.

Day 08 – 8th May

One week since I stopped working. My routine was kinda same as the week before. But line-dancing was canceled last minute.

Day 09 – 9th May

A repetition of the week before as well. Although it was Mother’s Day which I totally forgot till my sister told me, me and my family didn’t go anywhere special. My dad was working shift and my elder sister wasn’t around. So...there was me, mum and my younger sister, Yen. We went round looking for food to eat but most of the places were fully crowded. We stopped at 2 places and found out it was packed.

Day 10 – 10th May

Which is today....I went to school AGAIN!! Haha...went to disturb Jein, helped her copy some notes, questioning my maths teacher bout Form 6 maths. After school, I went back to office to collect my pay and went to get my Form 6 skirt. Hmmm...how would I look like arr? We shall wait for next week to see how I look, right? Came back...and here I am updating my blog.

So...in short....these 10 days....SUPER BORING!!!

HOORAY!!!

It's my last day of work. Finally I can stop workin and get back to studying. It's such a relief to stop working a job that you are not really interested in, I tell you.

Anyway...it is a good experience for me though to work for this 4 months. Learnt a lot of things. Made me a little wiser in thinking as well. But one thing I'll always remember working here is that God was with me throughout the 4 months. If it wasn't for Him, I'd never could have take the pressure here. God is good!! Amen?

Oh yeah!! I've got a place to study Form 6 in MHS. Have I told you that? Can't remember whether I entered that fact in my last blog or not. Can't wait to start studying.

At this moment, there's just me, my collogue and the driver are in the office. My collogue, Geraldine...she's eating and reading a mag. And the driver, Lan...he's erm...looking out of the door, don't know looking at what. And me...what else would I be doin but typin an entry in...

Hmm...feeling hungry already. Waiting for some one to get back to the office so that me and Geraldine can go out for lunch together. Okie! Will update soon, I hope...if I'm not too busy and am allowed to use the com.
