Nostalgic euphoria

Having a couple of free minutes i went to check back on some old acquaintances' blogs just now. Still the same
despite all the changes that've happened to me in contrast. still longingly cherish the memories of the sec3 year, fairfield debates, the arena..
and all the drama i've had to pleasure of seeing through..
I love nostalgia. how our minds sieve out only the gold of beautiful memories of the past that make me just wanna dream of 'life back then'

I've had such a drastic change in mindset since then though, no longer able to afford a carefree life full of meaningless pursuits, haha..

I've been quite ill these few days, bad combination of weather, liberal use of the air conditioner, and a personal obsession with grapes
hope i've recovered for good now, back to the grind!

New Born

I was very surprised to know that people still check on this site, seeing as I've been to busy to spend time on here for almost a week.
Finally got to change the theme though, I think this one's beautiful.
So far its mostly the same in my life, lazying over the sofa, homework, arguing with my equally stubborn father..etc
but i got a shock when i went through the japanese prelim papers, its way harder than the O papers! if moelc's students are of that standard, i'm dead!

wonderful book, the author's mindset is realistic, yet optimistic.

LAZER ACTION FUN

What you need to play LAZER ACTION FUN (tm)
----------------------------------------
-A nice hotel room with a good view
-A super powerful red laser pointer
-A healthy sense of mischief
-two hundred china people

Instructions:
-look out for unsuspecting china people going about their business, potentially 'fun' targets are listed as so:
    1. Ladies (they'll think they're being stalked)
    2. Kids (better in groups cus they'll play with the "xiao hong dian!" by themselves they'll just run away!)
    3. Gangs (they'll use that as an excuse to start brawling)
    4. Couples (because they'll eventually end up hugging <__< )

-line up your laser point in front of their feet, or at the back of the first person if its a group of them.

-grab their attention and start 'drawing circles' (they'll start swirling around following it, we even got one to look between his legs )

-duck when the next police van comes on patrol!!
   1st day: 0    china police vans
    2nd day: 1   china police vans
    3rd day: 1   china police vans
    4th day : 3   china police vans
    last day: 8   china police vans(!!)

fairfield chinese teachers are lazy and slack.
especially the old teachers. every other school's having mt intensive, whole days for studying chinese. The only teachers with a sense of professionalism teach higher chinese.
what do we get? "oh, hey we got this thing, its called 'splint to de finah' where eight students stay back for half an hour to pretend to do a paper while you chat with us about the weather"
This school's mt department is a flop. just throwing potential grades away. (which includes MY potential chinese grade! )

11.25pm: Okay, after reading blogs of everyone else I realise that I am terribly cynical, here at least. I'm guilty of treating this place like a personal diary
I'm been out of sorts for a very long while,
can't remember the last time i was happy for more than a fleeting moment, maybe during the arena days, those were happy.
studies? is it the pressure? is everyone taking it as badly as I am?

I think i really want to delete this place, since i've spent countless hours trying to find the delete all button that isn't here.. start about writing the nostalgic memories instead of selfish petty complaints against myself and everyone else.

..maybe its the colour..
