| | Quick entry from work:
Power still out. OF COURSE.
Trees down everywhere. Watching for Sally Struthers to come strolling down my lane to feed my fly-buzzed and under-fed children.
Escaped City of the 1800s yesterday and visted neighboring Cincinnati.
Without news or radio in the house in the morning, of course, picked one day this week when a three semi-trailer wreck had effectively blocked the Louisville-Cincy corridor for 5-6 hours.
On the plus side, we were only at a standstill w/ the boys in the car in the middle of nowhere for about an hour, which is pretty quick, compared to the many people who were stuck there for, seriously, five hours.
Also a plus, we were not in an accident, ourselves.
A great time was had by all at the Newport Aquarium in Covington, which is just across the river from Cincy. Yesterday was Sam's Third Birthday. We all had a blast, can't wait to go back soon. For the record, this aquarium is nicer than the New England Aquarium in Boston, in our opinions. Go, Cincy, go!
Photos and more story-telling to come soon.
Sam's birthday party is Sunday and no one has RSVP'd and now on top of all the work I have to do today, I have to call these lazy bozos and beg them to come to my son's birthday party.
I Wilco's new CD.
The very funny blog of my friend.
That's all for now. I am at work and co-workers are starting to arrive, so I better jet.
