I know a hot tub is supposed to be hot, but ours is 120F and we can't figure out how to fix the son of a bitch short of throwing a 21 lb bag of ice in it.

Anyone know anything about these things?

Here is the user's manual.  It is the EM-100.  Knock yourselves out, impress me.  Go for it.

I declare my own stupidity.

Put a garden hose in it and turn it on. Use a tube to suction out the hot water or scoop out the hot water first. That's what we used to do... when our hot tub worked years ago.

According to your manual... try turning the heat thermostat down or decreasing the heating cycle time... it sounds like the thing is factory set to about 120F so maybe that is the trouble... it was never adjusted to begin with and is still at the factory setting?
