INCREDIBLE news

My friend Robyn O'Brien has been campaigning for GMO awareness since we first discussed it on the phone a couple of years ago.  Look, she just made CBS News w/ Katie Couric.   Hell, yeah!

LABEL THE GMOS IN OUR FOOD AND GIVE US A CHOICE!  Stop treating Americans like unwilling participants in a human trial!  Stop giving little helpless kids life-threatening food allergies!!  NOW!

Link to the CBS story.

Soybean and its by products are becoming too ubiquitous. The livestock is not too happy just eating grain and some folks want to eat beef that is raised more naturally.

Otherwise it is not easy to get too much information if GMO foods have not been harmful or not.

Take for instance GMO cotton. Even though we don't eat the fibers of cotton, the cottonseeds are pressed for oil and the meal is also feed to animals. We are up in the food chain and the final results are tough to determine.

Definitely GMO is a concern but the chicken house is guarded by the same industry that monitors it. Will the FDA administration be less suspect? Probably not while the republicans and democrats are still paid by the lobbyists....
