The surgeon is happy with the way I'm healing .  I've been warned to be wary of doing too much and inflicting an umbilical hernia on my own bad self.

I picked up some new yarns today.  I'm doing an entirely different fringe on the end of the ladder shawl I'm making for Gwenyth.  It's the "Period Piece" in celebration of her menarche, which has not arrived prior to the completion of the shawl.  I would like to give it to her, if not upon the day she starts, than before she starts menstruating so she can wrap herself in the comfort of it.

I did a little too much cleaning this afternoon after returning home from the doc's office.  I've got a little pain in my side, but I'm pretty sure I'll be taking it easier tomorrow to compensate for the work I did today.
