| | My house is not in orderOh, how I need next week to be here.....clean my closets, get rid of junk, stock my pantry....sit in my jammies all day....spend time with the girls...and get rid of junk....I really need to simplify my life, since every thing else in my life seems to be so messy Yesterday was, advisory council, and the last day of school, and we had graduation from the Afterschool program for the kids, turned out nice.....praise and worship practice went well, had a guest drummer (uncle david was passing through town). And today was wedding stuff... We have a couple getting married tomorrow....they started coming to the corps about two years ago, both were crack addicts, two-and a half years ago.....didn't come from the ARC, but came in through one of our soldiers....felt convicted, wanted to be a God honoring couple....and are getting married.....completely have allowed God to transform their lives....the wedding is going to be beautiful....expecting around 150, with 4 bridesmaids and groomsmen, and a fancy sit down dinner in the gym.....they will be soldiers next weekend...I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful day for them, the rest of their families do not know the Lord, may we be an example of HIS LOVE, grace and kindness, even when I am dead tired and just want to go home..... |
