After quitting, I left for a trip to San Diego with Sharon to meet up with Ti. I loved it! I could totally be a beach bum if I had the money to do it. Highlights of the trip included hiking Torrey Pines, surfing, fireworks at Coronado, and seeing baby seals. :D We also went kayaking in La Jolla, but sadly, because of the swells, we weren't able to kayak through these caves. Bummer. The weather was great - it made it a lot easier to be active outside compared to our lovely Texas heat. When we went running on the beach, the car remote fell out of my pocket, but thankfully, God provided and we were able to find the remote. I just kept thinking what if the waves swept it away, and then voila, I found it! Praise God!

Torrey Pines hike. There are a couple of trails that you can take, we went to a few lookout points and then headed to the beach trail.
