We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:8,9You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. ~Psalm 16:11

well, i don't think the essay was too good. i'm just not good at them. but erin helped alot. if she didn't come down it would have probably been alot worse. so, finally after today, romeo and juliet is done! more grammar! yes!!! i love grammar just cause it's the easiest thing in the world! i've had grammar since, what, 4th grade? well, probably first grade. but we've had actual grammar books since like 4th grade. today in jenkins class we are acting out a part of the play. i'm with heather brucker (sp?) we're doing the part where she says she will marry paris. we get extra credit for props and costumes, but i don't have anything. oh well. i kinda wish we did a more active part so i could be really dramatic. but i'll still be dramatic. hehe.

haha. you saw mr. d. i saw him at this one choral concert that i went to with my grandma for a school project. i tried to avoid eye contact, and i'm pretty sure he didn't see me.  whew. lol. yeah. i love grammar. without that and vocab, my english grade would be like really really bad. but we finished vocab a while back. i was gonna try to get out of doing grammer like erin and some other folks, but then i decided not to, cause i realized my grades needed it. oh by the way, this is gonna be a really long comment. maybe i'll make it into two. (or more) although i wish we had done more writing at grace. cause like you were saying your essay wasn't too great. i'm sure you've heard the story of my 1st essay at bbs, how the teacher's comments on how i needed to improve were longer than the essay itself. yeah, oh well. hopefully mr d (or miss newell/mrs something or other, except she's leaving, isn't she?) will see the need for writing, so future kids won't have to go into the world unprepared to write essays. ok, i'm gonna finish in another comment, cause this one is rather quite long. i've gotten into a habit of writing really long comments lately

haha. i just glanced back up at all the comments, and i made me laugh that we're all like "i love grammar!" what a bunch of nerds we are. lol. anyway, what i originally wanted to say...

i have this like really really random memory from a long time ago that i just thought of for the 1st time in years that i felt a need to share with you, seeing that it concerns you. well, about 11 years ago or so, we were at a birthday party at my dear friend sarah jones's house. we were playing a game while sitting in a circle on her livingroom floor.  the game involved picking a card from a pile (well, i think this is how it went), making a face that was depicted on the card, and then everybody else, who were looking at a set of cards, tried to pick which face you made. well, when it was your turn to make the face, i peeked at your card (i don't think i tried to guess, so does it count as cheating? lol), and you made the face pretty well, but then whoever guessed the card picked one that looked similar, but wasn't quite the same one, but you said that they got it right. when everybody was like "good job!" and all, i tried to say that it wasn't the right card, and that it was this other card, but nobody would listen to me. i was mad at you for saying that they got it right, and i couldn't beleive that you could not realize that it wasn't the right card.

yeah, so that was an interesting flashback. that must have been the beggining of my cassandra complex. lol. that is what its called, right? cassandra complex? when you're always right, but nobody ever listens to you? (ok, ok, so i'm not always right, but most of the time :) lol) and then i think you go into depression and stop trying to tell people stuff altogether, then you eventually waste away into a vegetable. well, maybe that last part doesn't happen, but i think the rest does. in severe cases. lol. haha. this comment is like 10 times longer that your actually post. so i'll give you some eprops just for that, cause i wasn't planning on it, since this is my second comment. lol.
