I was hoping to post pictures earlier, but we are in the middle of closing on our house, renting a new house and doing all those new place things that you have to do when you move to a new state.

So...after we left the Humbolt Redowoods we headed up the coast and stoped at Agate beach, so called because of the wave polished agates you can find there. No fireagates found.
If you are wondering what an agate is you can find a description at:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agate and fireagate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Agate
Walking through the trees down to the beach.
the gravel areas are where you find most of the agates. I think we found one or two true agates but most were just pretty rocks. I'll try to find where we packed them away and post a picture.

Thank you Dear Friend for that suggestion. My first thought was...oh I wish I had the time. Why is it so hard to make time for the things that we really enjoy doing.
