| | phew...yesterday (Wednesday) was a really long day...got up in the
morning, spent time with Jesus, and then prepared to go out to do some
shopping and meet friends.
went to buy a postal order for some magazine subscription...i didn't
know i could use a local postal order to pay a company that is based in
another country? is that possible, anyone knows?
went to college to pay fees for next term. i hope i pass all my papers,
if not i will have to transfer my papers to different subjects. i was
actually looking out for the CFA courses for January but unfortunately
they have yet to publicise the new courses...
after that, i went with Margaret to do a bit of shopping at Lilly
Whites! bought a white umbro sports short pants, for use in futsal
probably! saw a lot of really cheap stuff there, Lilly Whites always
has good deals all year round...a soccer ball cost 2.39 pounds! that is
really cheap believe me, when you compare it to the prices of soccer
balls in Malaysia. even the better branded balls cost 8 pounds, which
is pretty reasonable.
i then proceeded for a farewell lunch for a Korean friend, Jason, who
is finally returning to Korea for good amidst studying for ACCA. He has
3 more papers to go, but he might do it elsewhere. Reason - he is
reuniting with his girlfriend after both were unable to bear the long
distance relationship for too long. although my friend is comfortable
with life in London, family life comes first? hehe...marriage in sight?
oh well, i wish him all the best...really had a great time during
lunch, not only the food but the fellowship...met a few other Koreans.
but the people there were mostly Malaysians.
after that, adjourned to Oxford Street to do some shopping...managed to
get a suit from Marks & Spencer, for work in Malaysia. did i
mention that i outgrew my previous tailored suit?
immediately after buying the suit, it was time for dinner with the
london-based cempakans...i just had lunch so i was really full...met up
with Kuah, Mak, Choong, and Marcus. we went to some Japanese
restaurant, recommended by Chin Howe, called 'ikkyusan'. Not bad the
food!
spent time just talking talking talking...and after the dinner, i am
totally convinced that warcraft or world of warcraft is bad for your
health! gets you hooked and addicted, and kills conversations,
hahahahaha...but i guess it's a hobby for my warcraft-enthusiastic
friends...
as usual, we went to Haagen Daz after dinner, and spent more time
talking...it will be my last time seeing Marcus in London, but i will
be seeing him in Malaysia soon...he will be going to Singapore to work.
So my cempakan gang in London will shrink by 1 person...
by the time i got home, i was really tired...so slept.
now it's 9am here, and i have to prepare for another long day...was
supposed to play badminton this morning, but all my friends cannot wake
up lah!
okaylah...not sure if i will blog here before i leave for Malaysia tomorrow...take care everyone...God bless...
