it was Palm Sunday a week ago, and now we're symbolically, in the week where Jesus took upon himself the sins of the whole world, yeap, it's the weekend which enabled us humans to be reconciled to God, all through Jesus Christ.
Good Friday was good, went for Good Friday service at church. Was very nice to sing old hymns, although no presentations, but it was still great to be able to spend the evening just reflecting on my life and on what Jesus did for me, what he went through because of His love for us.
today watched Passion of Christ movie at the Sze's residence, as part of a youth event, i've watched it before, and watching it again gave me the opportunity to focus more on what Jesus went through. at one part of the movie, one of the younger youths actually screamed when the nail was driven into Jesus' palm, guess everyone watching the movie was moved and touched by the depiction of what Jesus went through, and it is not a story, it really happened man! i seriously can't imagine the pain going through all that, if i was god, i would've given up and summoned the angels to intervene, hehe, just can't imagine man.
tomorrow is Easter Sunday! so anyway, Jesus rose from the dead as he said! reminds me of the song sung by Ron Kenoly "Hallelujah!!! Jesus is alive! Death has lost its victory, and the grave has been denied! The lamb of GOd is risen, He's alive! He's alive! Hallelujah!!! Jesus is alive!!!"
just got news yesterday that there will be an Inter-church Futsal tournament on April 24th!!! not sure whether i can play, but this time we wanna try our best to form a strong team to win it! and guess what people!!!!!!!!! PLANET SHAKERS will be here next week!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoo! i've never been to a planet shakers concert live, but i really love their praise and worship songs! i love their enthusiasm and zeal and passion when they just shout and sing those songs...so whoever wanna go just let me know, will pass u the details, i dun have 'em with me now.
