    {Acts 17:27, NLT}

    I just read Acts 17 for my morning devotions.  Verse 27 stood out to me the most.  It's perfect because I was going to post about a dream I had this morning and this verse "happens" to go right with it!  You have to know that this past week, I've been plagued with horrible dreams.  This was the first good one I've had in awhile.

    Gregg and I were in a country in Africa walking through a busy city.  There was a man who was very upset, expressing it to one of his friends.  He had held open in his hand a little green camoflauged book that I noticed was a Gideon New Testament.  But he was looking for a chapter in Isaiah, which he didn't have in his little Bible.  He so badly was looking for encouragement and I felt bad that he didn't have easy access to owning a whole Bible.  He then held a piece of paper and a pencil and him and his friend were trying to remember the book of Isaiah from memory.  Gregg then went over, and out of the big black Bible he had, that his sister gave him as a present, he tore out the chapter of Isaiah this man was looking for.  The man went to quickly write it down on the paper, but Gregg explained that the man could keep the page.  The man was so excited to get the chapter he was looking for, the one talking about Jesus' crucifixion for us.  I walked away just amazed at the Divine appointment.  I thought, "God brought us all the way over here to give that one guy a chapter from Isaiah that he didn't have."

    I was encouraged awhile ago to write down my dreams.  I don't know what this one means, but I think God gave it to me for a reason.
