IF YOU HAVE A MAC AND YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR BANKING TRANSACTIONS INTO QUICKEN OR QUICKBOOKS WOW WILL YOU LOVE THIS THING

If this thing cost $5,000 it would be a bargain, and yet it is only $16.  If you download your banking transactions into Quicken or Quickbooks, you probably think it's really cool that you don't have to key in those transactions - BUT the bank doesn't know what self-named category you used in setting up your accounts, right?  So what QIFmaster does is "MEMORIZES" your transactions for next time.  So if you have "Shell oil" you can categorize it as "gas expense" and save the "pre- QIF" file into a ready to import into your QIF format software and guess what?  It's all categorized!  Once you memorize all of your typical transactions, it will RIP through months of transactions and give you a beautifully categorized set of data.  Seriously it's insanely awesome.  I'm sure there's something similar for WINDOWS but if not BUMMER!  OK things in life aren't always so easy so to find the software you're going to have to look it up on Google.  This will save you so many hours of tedious paperwork!

I've been using Microsoft Money and it does that too... e.g., I assigned Earthlink as an ISP in business expense, the next time I download QIF data into Money, it will categorize it the same... The only problem is, if I categorize stuff like CompUSA as computer expense, and I goto different CompUSA stores, Money might not automatically associate CompUSA Store #475 (assuming I categorize CompUSA Store #22 originally) as a computer expense automatically...

Oh just FYI QIFMaster lets you truncate your incoming transaction For example you could do all "CompusaXXX" and make them computer expense.
