| | THIS IS THE FIREPLACE AT DISCOVERY BAY
This is the finished fireplace
that I had spec'd out. I wanted a fireplace that would hold the
Bose 3.2.1. System. I love the Bose 3.2.1. - it gives home
theater sound with only two small speakers and a subwoofer. For
spaces where you don't need Kaboom sound, it is incredible. I
have the system in my sailboat in California, and it is amazing. So it is a
standard thing for great rooms, I also have it at the Beach House and
at the Castle.
I also started a new thing with
little square leather cubes, putting them together so they would make
like a big ottoman. This way, you can put them together but if
different people want to put their feet up, they can just grab a square
and voila. This time we did 1/2 of the cubes in black, the other
1/2 in a leather matching the furniture. Neato!
This time I had David Rigg build
a fireplace mantle that would hold the Bose as well as other speaker
compenents. He also built a home theater in Discovery Bay... I
haven't seen it yet - Nicole is going to take some photos. I'm so
excited to see my new home - I haven't seen it completed yet and me and
Melissa get to stay there in just a few days! YAY! |
