isn't mine. It's the dealership's. The Range Rover that I
bought last year has been in the shop pretty much more than I have
owned it - it has been towed to the dealership a whopping nine times lasting
about two weeks each visit. The reason? A battery leak that
causes the car to lose its charge so it won't start when I return home from a trip.
Then today when I was going
through the parking lot - my other Rover looked like it was a low-rider
cholo car because the air suspension had gone flat. I had a
nervous chuckle because I had just sunk $2,500 to fix the leak in the
air suspension about a year ago.
So am I unhappy with Land
Rovers? No - I love them! (well I do not love this one, the
LR3 just doesn't really do it for me). Land Rovers are to Treos
as North Korea is to Iraq.
They are super cool
because of one thing and one thing only - the interiors. The
interiors are super beautiful - it looks like the inside of a private
jet. And the stereo sound is absolutely unbelievable. It
has like 16 speakers coming out of 400 watts or some ridiculous figure
like that with a booming subwoofer that makes classical music sound
like you are standing right in the middle of the orchestra. If
you love classical music, you'll love the new Rover. Think of it
as a listening room on wheels because that's all the damn thing is good
for because it sure doesn't ever start! Piece of crap. |
