SO, WHO ARE YOU?

I would like to invite you again to click on the e-mail box and write to me and tell me who you are, and what brought you to my blog. Am I a person from your past, and you're wondering what I am up to? Did you hear about this blog from a friend? Why do you visit? For advice? Laughs? Vicarious living?

Please write me and in the subject say, "WHO I AM".

So far, one guy asked me why the photos on my blog suck so bad if I am a renowned photographer. Good question and I wasn't offended! It's because I don't really shoot anymore, so all of the shots on here are just from my point and shoot - unless I'm on vacation and then doing a fine-art travel book, then they don't suck!

That guy was pretty funny writing 'pretty much sucks' about your photography. Gotta admire the honesty, but thats like a kindergartener telling his teacher that he she can't spell worth a damn cause she forgot to dot an i.

hey gary thanks for asking...
i have been a wedding photographer who found your blog after spending a little time on your digitalphotography.info website. i really liked your comparison of the different digital cameras and wound up buying a Fuji S3 which i am very happy with. i live a pretty laid back life style up here in the bay area... so i enjoy watching you buy and sell properties, vehicles and travel the world. i started a blog here after reading yours for about a year... and now in the last few months i am really enjoying blogging, sharing my life and what i do online... it seems to make my life more dynamic and connects me with a lot more people.
Keep up the great blogging Gary, it's inspiring.

Hmm, I thought he said to email him with "WHO AM I" in the subject line, not here in the blog.

Darn you Gary, this DVD better be good, I just plunked $102 of my hard earned cash for it and decided to put off the SB800 purchase yet another month... It's ironic that I am going to be shooting next weekend's weddings with an LSII that I own, mounted on a rental flash unit. At least I won't have to also rent the cumbersome bracket-and-cord any more!

Crap it's 11:40 PM and unlike you lazy full-time wedding photogs (I kid, I kid) I have to get up at 4:15 and go work in construction...

hi Gary, i was one of the attendees of your Wedding Photography seminar sponsored by Art Leather here in Manila,Philippines. I have bought your DVDs, Lighstpshere and the latest is the GRich DVD. I have managed to make my presence felt in the local wedding photography scene with using some of your techniques and suggestions. Thank you. Your our American Idol for wedding photography.
